MapRun

Danbury - June 20

New to MapRun? -> Please see the introduction page here

Introduction to this course
The course measures 5.6km long from point to point, but you will run a bit further than this, dependant on your route. The navigation should be fairly straightforward, but sometimes the GPS can take a while to keep up with you, so ensure you have ‘Display my location’ ticked in the settings – and you can check exactly where you are at all times.
This course is very similar to the course we used for the Long run in the 2019 SOS Winter Series, so it may seem a bit familiar to some (in daylight this time!).
Remember, this is a ‘fun’ event!

MapRun link - Event link (with downloadable map and results link) can be found here

Location
The course start & finish are near The Cricketers Arms public house, Penny Royal Road, Danbury Common, CM3 4ED.

Parking
It is suggested that you park in the free National Trust car park opposite the pub (turn in from Bicknacre road).

Start and Finish
The ‘Start’ & ‘Finish’ of the course is by the post box (near the bushes), situated nearly opposite the pub, near where the road forks.
