Well done to the hardy souls who turned out on Saturday morning despite the sleet showers and biting wind to have a go at Micro O.

Galleywood is a small area but with some technical bits which lent themselves to a control pick on a big scale. Lots of controls out with two courses the first a bit easier and 2.9k which all attempted, the second a bit more technical and 2.5k if the first course left you wanting more.

The map was printed at 1:5000 so the circles were not too crowded. Using SI meant it was not treated as a score course. I managed to find a spur and a re-entrant - not bad for Essex!

Thanks to Emma and Poppy for helping out and collecting controls.
