Your course will be printed on your map, which will be printed on waterproof paper.
Times - PRE-ENTRY ONLY! Due to Covid-19 restrictions we can only accept pre-entry via SI Entries here (NOTE - Closing date for entries is Midnight Friday 16th April):
Start between 10.30 to 12.30.
Please don’t arrive very early as we cannot have too many runners congregating around the assembly area.
You will need to arrive in kit ready to run.
There will be no key drop but you may be able to leave a small bag in the assembly area at your own risk.
There will be a punching start and times will be allocated in 15 minute blocks. Please do not approach the start area before your allocated time.
If you are late report to enquiries for instructions.
There will be two separate starts but they are near each other. Check which courses are starting from which line. There will be notices to inform you which courses each line accommodates and officials on hand to direct you to the correct line.
Courses close at 14.30 - you must report to the download point by this time.
Fees Level C events - £10 seniors (£8 members of British Orienteering),
£3.00 juniors (under 21) and students.
SI card (dibber) hire £1. If you need to hire an SI card it will be located at Enquiries desk in an envelope with your name on it.
Medical If you have a medical condition we need to know about please download and fill in the medical form here.
Place it in a sealed envelope with your name clearly on the outside. Hand this to the Enquiries point in the assembly area where the First Aiders will keep it in confidence for the duration of the event. It can be collected unopened at the end of the event.
First aid will be available at the enquiries point.
COVID-19 There will be a number of measures taken to mitigate the spread of Covid-19. The British Orienteering guidance for participants is available for download HERE.
Read this BEFORE travelling to the event Please also follow the instructions of officials on the day.
There will be hand sanitizer stations for you to use.
Do not travel to the event if you have any of the Covid-19 symptoms including fever, new continuous cough or loss of smell and taste.
All participants are expected to comply with social distancing measures with other participants and the public at all times.
Facilities No refreshments available. Please bring your own.
Toilets available in the Outdoor Centre. Please limit numbers entering at any one time and do not wear muddy shoes etc indoors.
Normal face covering and social distancing rules apply instore at all times.
Dogs No Dogs are permitted in the Outdoor Centre grounds.
Results When you finish your course you will be expected to download in the normal manner. We will tell you your time but we won’t be issuing split times or results on the day. Instead we will post results as soon as possible online via our website. If you do not have access to the internet we can post a set of results to you. Please leave a stamped addressed envelope at the enquiries desk.
Do not wait around after your run but please return to your car unless you are waiting for young children.
