Video on the website

Postby Andrew Cordle » Tue Mar 06, 2012 12:46 pm

What do you think of the video on the website?

The Club Committee are considering making our own video.
Do you think this would be worthwhile?
If so, what information should it contain?

I think that video [the featured one on the website - comment added before I added the other links - Administrator] is awful. We need one to show a complete range of ages in the start box, a clip of them running in the forest and at the finish. Also to show the use of dibbers, registration and download and a clip from an urban race and a training event. I think it is important to show good athletes running flat out as well family groups walking. Voiceover should be precise and informative and cover every aspect of orienteering including explanation of maps the use of compass, dibbers etc (while all these things are on screen).
