Explanation of Event levels
Local events are usually low key and in the 'localised' area, ideal for newcomers to try the sport and Training events are non competitive and used for training and coaching, aimed at members of the club, but they can attract people from neighbouring clubs, and are often ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Regional events attract participants from around the local Region, National events are high quality competitions that will attract people from far away, Major events are Major Events such as a British Championships.

Club Coaching Saturday 29th January at Bridge Wood, Orwell Country Park, Ipswich, IP10 0NZ
From 1pm to 3pm.
We’ll be taking advantage of the contours so you can practice your skills at a gradient!
Reasons to come to coaching session
1. Learn new skills and practice old ones without the pressure of competition.
2. Get to know your fellow club members
3. Improve fitness while having fun
At each session we offer coach led activities for all abilities to improve your skills and fitness but if you feel this is not for you we can sometimes accommodate self led loops. Dress for weather conditions. Bring Drink/Snack. Use your own compass if possible. All other equipment will be provided. There is no charge for coaching.

Orwell Country Park Bridge Wood Car Park, Ipswich, IP10 0NZ
Bridge Wood car park is off Nacton Road/A1189, along the former airfield perimeter track and over the bridge over the A14. If coming from the A145 junction turn left off the A1189 onto the perimeter track
Be advised that if driving from the centre of Ipswich there is no longer a right turn into Orwell Country Park along Nacton Road/A1189. You must go around the roundabout and take the third exit.
