Club Champion trophies

The 2022 SOS Club Championships will be held at SUFFOC event at Wordwell, KIng's Forest on Sunday November 20th.

Wordwell is part of the very large area known as “The King’s Forest”, to the southwest of Thetford. As is usual with commercial forest, there are blocks of conifers in various stages of maturity separated by deciduous windbreaks and open rough grassy areas. Scattered within are various depressions resulting from a history of human usage, including sand & marl extraction and wartime preparations. The area should provide challenging courses and is well suited as the nominated venue for 2022 SOS Club Championships. Full details of the event are available on SUFFOC website here

Handsome trophies await the winners. The trophies were commissioned in 2018 to mark the 50th Anniversary of the founding of the Club. One is awarded to the Open Champion and the other to the Junior Champion. All members of the club are eligible. The full rules are available here. The trophies will be presented to the winners at New Year Day Novelty event.
