Well done to Chris Childs who planned this event. It was his first outing as planner and he put on some great courses. The park is a small and not exactly technical area so the idea of a 2 map sprint to lengthen the course worked well. I hope he has not been put off by the experience and will be seen at future events in the same capacity.

I have to thank all the other club members who turned out to pester the good folk of Chelmsford into having a go at our beginners courses and to publicise the Hylands event in a few weeks time. Especially Richard Newton who ranged around the town centre accosting unsuspecting shoppers.

Lastly we might have invented a new Olympic sport - car loading. Due to the precarious nature of the parking space due to skate park users taking up the off road space we managed to load all the kit relay style in under 5 mins in to my car boot so well done to the team for that - not a ticket in sight!
