A fine evening to kick off the Summer Series. Hilly Fields lush and green - a sea of golden stinging nettles. A strong performance from Peter and Richard as usual with Kevin Eddie and Simon battling for contention not far behind, but full credit to the novices who bravely and ambitiously took on the challenge of the longer course, and particularly to Allen Smalls who more than held his own with the much more experienced participants - and a very amenable inquest over a pint thereafter. Do try to support these events they are good fun. Steve has organised the next event at Tiptree Heath for Wednesday 15th June. Hope to see you there.
