Thanks to everyone for turning out on what was quite adverse weather. Most people seemed happy with the course, but clearly I could have done a bit more not to disguise roads and paths with the overprint on at least two controls. The great thing was that there were only a couple of wrong controls found. Chelmer Village does offer quite a variety in types of leg and does offer the opportunity for legitimate route choice. I hope I was able to challenge you in a few places. There were quite a few comments on using the waterproof control cards and the difficulties in writing on them with most pens and pencils. Maybe we should revert to the card ones for future events. Thank you to everyone for respecting the arrangements to ensure each other’s safety with regard to COVID. Finally, a big thank you for Chris for coming early, running the start and going out last only for the night to crash in and make a quick time nigh impossible.
