Overview
This is a score event whereby controls can be 'collected' in any order and are assigned different points depending on location. Generally, controls close to the start have a lower value and increase in value further away from the start. Controls 1-10 are valued at 10 points, 11-20 at 20 points, 21-30 at 30 points and control 31 is valued at 40 points. You are time limited. For the long course 60 minutes & short course 40 minutes. Exceeding these times will collect a penalty of 10 points per minute (or part thereof). It is very unlikely that anyone on the long course will be able to visit all the controls.

Safety Notes
Participation is at your own risk. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Bring clothing and footwear appropriate for the weather conditions. As with any urban orienteering which requires participants to cross roads, you are asked to take due care and pay attention at all times. It will not be necessary to cross roads with a limit above 30mph, however not all drivers observe this speed, especially on Broomfield Road, so please take care.
Roads with a 40/60mph speed limit are out of bounds. There is street lighting on all roads within the built up areas,
