Overview

This is a SCORE event whereby controls can be 'collected' in any order and are assigned different points depending on location; controls 1-10 collect 10 points, 11-20 20 points and 21-28 30 points. However, you are time limited for the LONG course; 60 minutes & SHORT course 40 minutes. Exceeding these times will collect a penalty of 10 points per minute! The event start and finish is at The Hospital Arms pub, Lexden Road/Crouch Street, Colchester CO3 3HA.

Participation is at your own risk. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Wear clothing and footwear appropriate for the weather conditions. As with any urban orienteering which requires participants to cross the road, you are asked to take due care and pay attention at all times. N.B. there are several busy road crossings – please take care. High visibility clothing is strongly recommended. There may be dog walkers, cyclists, scooters or residents on pavements and footpaths – be aware and give them priority
