Overview

We have two MapRun courses in Harwich.

Both courses utilise permanent information boards detailing the history of Harwich. The Harwich Heritage Short course uses the large Tendring Council Heritage Trail boards. The longer Harwich Society Trail uses the Maritime Heritage Trail information boards and plaques. Some of these are quite small. Directions / Parking

The Harwich Heritage Short course starts near the High Lighthouse and the longer Maritime Heritage Trail starts near the Treadwheel Crane – both are located at St Helen’s Green CO12 3NH

There are plenty of facilities nearby. Free on street parking nearby and a number of carparks.
