East Anglian League Winners

Several Stragglers were awarded medals for 2025 East Anglian League at CompassSport round in February.

Six members of Essex Stragglers won their class in 2025 East Anglian League (EAL). Points were scored at six events across the region with the best four to count. 
Lulu Gooding won the Girl’s Under 16 and also won her class in East Anglian Urban League. At the other end of the age range, husband and wife, John and Geraldine Russell won their Over 80 classes. Hannah Newton was the Women’s Open Champion and Chairman, Eddie Banks took the Men Over 70 title. Jackie Sibthorp tied with Helen Hague from West Anglian at the top of Women Over 55 table. 
The Club Championship was won by West Anglian Urban League with Suffolk Orienteering narrowly beating Essex Stragglers for second place.
