Sad announcement

It is with heavy hearts we announce the death of Charlie Partridge. You may have known them as Daisy.

Charlie took up orienteering in primary school and enjoyed competing/travelling and making new friends along the way. They joined Essex Stragglers shortly after and became an active member of SOS Juniors and competed for the club on many occasions. Charlie was a much loved member of our club. We will remember their enthusiasm for our sport and their encouragement for younger members.

Many of you will know that Charlie represented their country in the World Schools Championships in Turkey where the team won bronze, something they were all very proud of.

Her family are so proud of Charlie and will be celebrating their life on 12th October, on what would have been their 24th birthday. Details of the service can be found on Charlie's Tribute page.
