Eleven Stragglers made the journey to Yorkshire and participated in this year’s Jan Kjellström International Festival of Orienteering held over the Easter weekend.

The three days of individual races became increasingly physically challenging, starting with an urban sprint around Sheffield, the middle distance in the tricky contours of Tankersley and the long distance on the slopes of Wharncliffe.

Congratulations to Eddie, Doug, Lucy, Joshua, Nick, John, Geraldine, Tommy, Sophie, Teresa and Oliver on their performances.

Oliver Prince had a particularly successful weekend with 2nd place in Middle on Saturday in M20 Elite following 5th place in the Sprint and finishing off with 12th in Long for 6th place overall.

Thanks to the YHOA led by SYO for staging the event so well.
